Description
The flatbed semi trailer is one of the most widely used general purpose freight semi trailers in global logistics industry, designed for transporting containers, steel coils, steel profiles, machinery equipment and other general oversized cargo. It must be coupled with a heavy duty tractor truck via standard king pin for road operation. Typical 3 axle flatbed semi trailer adopts high strength Q355 steel welded main frame, with integral stamping longitudinal beams to improve bending resistance performance under full load conditions. Multiple container twist locks are pre installed on the platform surface to fasten 20ft and 40ft standard shipping containers. A large number of lashing rings are distributed on both sides of the platform for securing non container goods by steel wire ropes. Leaf spring suspension matches heavy load trailer axles to adapt to varied road surfaces in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Landing gears are equipped at the front end for stable parking when uncoupled from the tractor unit.
