A sprinkler truck (water spray truck / water tanker) is a special purpose vehicle modified with a large water tank, water pump and multi group spray nozzles. Its primary jobs include road surface dust suppression, urban street watering, green belt irrigation, emergency fire fighting water supply and site dust control on construction zones. Some sprinkler truck models can also be used for drinking water transportation with food grade tank material. This type of special vehicle is largely purchased by municipal government departments, engineering project contractors, real estate developers and landscaping companies.
